By educating and training their employees through the education program of The Analytics Academy, De Persgroep has turned their ambition to transform into a data-driven company into a reality. At Glencore worked closely with Paul Albregt, Business Intelligence Architect at Glencore Agriculture BV, to set up an analytics training program for the agriculture division’s employees. We spoke with Paul to learn more about the role Business Intelligence plays at his company and how they are preparing for a data-driven future.
At Kandoor we piloted Blended learning, a combination of eLearning modules and face-to-face sessions, which we regard as a viable alternative to conventional teaching methods. It offers a time and place agnostic way of teaching the theory, while physical sessions can be used to focus on coaching and guidance: the step of bringing the theory into practice.
Together with NAM, we created one of our longest learning journeys so far. Involving all layers of the company, this one-and-a-half year program resulted in a slew of PoC’s and a large contribution to NAM’s own capabilities. Taking place when COVID-19 shook the world, it allowed us to develop the capabilities for remote teaching.
At Tata Steel we provided a course for the executive and management team. The goal of the course was to create a sense of urgency, and get the participants enthusiastic and inspired about the opportunities of AI, Data Science, Digitization and Machine Learning.
At De Goudse we provided a tailored course for the executive and management team.
